Doctorlink engagement and workshop Sessions

*Note: both sessions will be the same, so will you will only need to attend one of the sessions.

Doctorlink was rolled out at pace at the start of the pandemic, to support patient demand as part of the Online Consultations requirement for practices.

Whilst some practices are using this and seeing great results, we are also aware that there have been issues with feedback to the CCG and the LMC about usage and uptake, as well as product functionality. These sessions are a great opportunity to give your feedback as to what is not working well for you and to see what can be done to support practices.

Statistics so far have shown improvement in getting patients to the right place of care for their need e.g. pharmacy, self-care, dentist emergency care, etc., alongside Doctorlink supporting with the activity workflow at GP practices e.g. an appointment with a nurse, an appointment with a GP, an appointment with an MSK Specialist and the associated timescales (24hr, 48hr,72hr, 1 week, etc)

We are running a couple of sessions to provide you with an overview of how things have progressed so far and update you with all the new functionality available to practices. Whilst you continue to have the support of our helpdesk team, this session is aimed at giving practice staff the opportunity to ask our team any questions ensuring you get the greatest benefit from Doctorlink and how it is set up for your practice.

The session will consist of a short presentation covering:

• Doctorlink Overview
• The Story So Far…
• New Functionality
• Practice Q&A’s

We are also aware that there are practices who have signed up to Doctorlink, but are not yet using it and we would like to utilise this opportunity to discuss and explore the reasons for this and work with you to support further uptake.

We welcome any suggested topics that practices would like to discuss in advance, so please share any thoughts you may have with Laura Cook ([email protected]) who will feed these back to Doctorlink.
